So, I thought I'd give a short introduction to vsJack and why blackjack needed reinventing.
Today blackjack is a single player game. In all setups out there, online or not, you are, in practice, playing by yourself against a machine or human with predetermined actions. With some luck you might have other humans sitting next to you, also playing by themselves against the house, and at best having a shared interest in the outcome of the dealers predetermined actions.
The fact that traditional blackjack is always played against the house, means the house is always an enemy and you, the player, will always feel a certain amount of animosity toward the house. You might consider the possibility of the house cheating and you might certainly consider the fact that the house rules are never in your favour.
People sitting at the same table might create a certain bond in their near impossible mission to take down the house. Players will though never connect to other players with the love/hate feelings you get by directly winning or losing directly against another player (as in, for instance, poker).
The goal of vsJack is to provide a playing field and be the customers' friend instead of opponent. vsJack also wants to help you make friends of other players.
Obviously, we, despite being your friend, are not providing this service pro bono. We take a small cut out of every transaction. In our goal to provide a fair playing field, this cut is significantly lower than any house edge you will find at a traditional casino. This means that, as a player, you can definitely make money at VsJack. Your method to do so is though no longer restricted to luck, now a proper amount of skill can also work in your favour.
Besides being a fair and friendly playing field, blackjack 2.0 also means using the latest tech developments to produce a never before seen blackjack experience. With our proprietary 3D engine, intuitive design and crisp graphics, you will be aware the clock is 2012 at vsJack's house.
